the stacks

The Stacks is Buzzard Point's second massive development with Audi Field as the initial catalyzer. I suspect the historic Buzzard Point Power Plant and old substation will be the third major development some day. The Stacks are bounded by V Street on the south, Audi Field/S Street on the north, Fort Mc Nair/2nd St on the west, and Power Plant/Half St on the east. The project is being built in two distinct phases, with the first phase at the southern end to be delivered by early 2025. The northern end with an Audi parking lot will be developed in the second phase with anticipated completion in 2028.

The Stacks is a planned 6 + acre mixed-use, waterfront community coming to Buzzard Point. At full build-out, The Stacks Phase I will include 1,100 residences, 40,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, as many as two hotels, up to 250,000 square feet of office space, and a 15,000-square-foot park.
